Our little group of folks is looking to partner with all co-conspirators of goodness, yet our approach is deeply rooted in the ways of Jesus as interpreted through the Episcopal (TEC) and Lutheran (ELCA) traditions. Because we're trying to be the kind of people who don't judge, whatever your age, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, economic status or racial identity, there is a place for you here. Together, we become part of something greater as we learn to promote justice, peace and love.
I believe that the mysterious Creator of the Universe is up to something. I believe that One doesn't just dwell in church buildings, but is at work all around us. My co-conspirators and I believe spirituality is something that can be found in every thing, whether that is nourishing our bodies with food, being with friends, playing music, attending community organizing events, enjoying the outdoors or giving thanks through Communion.
We are the church (and don't just go to church). Our mission is to "restore all people to unity with God and each other in Christ" as we "pray and worship, proclaim the Gospel, and promote justice, peace, and love." A complete summary of our beliefs can be found here or here (the second one is more exciting and has videos!).
